Small business owners make tons of decisions and hold a lot of responsibility.  While it makes sense to pay for products and services to delegate some of those responsibilities there is often one that is not done right.  I've come to find that many small business owners have only vague idea about where their website is hosted, where their primary domain is registered, what the administrative account is on the website, and how to log in to those respective places.  While this may go on fine for a long time so long as you pay the bills and have a "web guy" that takes care of it for you, eventually there often comes a time when you will need all of that information.

Shipping API and Ecommerce Updates

Are you leveraging the API's provided by shipping companies such as FedEx and UPS?  Recently when working on a project I encountered some strange issues when dealing with a FedEx configuration.  After some troubleshooting with FedEx's web integration team we were able to determine that the API in place was a legacy version.  FedEx then went on to inform me that the legacy API will no longer be supported as of May, 2012.
